Terms of using the website, submitting enquiries and fulfilling orders at F.H.U. STANDEX.

§ 1

General provisions

  1. 1. These Terms set out the rules for using the standex.pl website and the conditions of providing services by F.H.U. STANDEX Export-Import Stanisław Żądło.
  2. 2. The website operator is F.H.U. STANDEX Export-Import, ul. Energetyków 6, 34-480 Jabłonka, Poland, Tax ID (NIP) 735-001-31-59, REGON 490265204.
  3. 3. Using the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
  4. 4. The website is not an online shop within the meaning of the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means — it serves an informational and contact function.
§ 2

Definitions

Seller — F.H.U. STANDEX Export-Import Stanisław Żądło, based in Jabłonka.
Customer — A natural or legal person or organisational unit submitting an enquiry or order.
Consumer — A Customer who is a natural person acting for purposes not directly related to business activity.
Entrepreneur — A Customer conducting business activity.
Goods — Installation and sanitary products offered by the Seller.
Service — Consulting, design, assembly, supervision and training provided by the Seller.
Website — The website at standex.pl together with its subpages.
Form — The contact form available on the website allowing an enquiry to be sent.
§ 3

Services provided

The Seller provides the following services:

Wholesale and retail sales

Plumbing and heating products, heat pumps, boilers, sanitary ware and joinery.

Technical consulting

Free with purchase. Material selection for a specific project.

Design

Heat calculations, boiler room and underfloor heating designs, equipment selection.

Assembly and supervision

A full delivery cycle from design to commissioning.

§ 4

Requests for quotation

  1. 1. An enquiry may be submitted via the contact form, by phone or by e-mail.
  2. 2. Sending an enquiry by the Customer does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code.
  3. 3. The Seller responds to enquiries within 24 working hours.
  4. 4. A quotation provided by the Seller is valid for 14 days unless agreed otherwise.
  5. 5. A quotation does not include the cost of unforeseen additional work.
§ 5

Orders

  1. 1. An order may be placed in person at a branch, by phone or by e-mail after acceptance of the quotation.
  2. 2. The sales contract is concluded upon confirmation of the order by the Seller.
  3. 3. Order fulfilment begins after payment is received (or after signing a contract in the case of wholesale customers with deferred payment terms).
  4. 4. The fulfilment date is set individually depending on goods availability.
  5. 5. A wholesale customer may obtain an individual price list and cooperation terms after concluding a separate agreement.
§ 6

Prices and payment

  1. 1. Prices in quotations are net prices, to which VAT is added at the applicable rate.
  2. 2. The Seller issues a VAT invoice in accordance with Polish tax law.
  3. 3. Wholesale customers may obtain deferred payment terms after signing a commercial agreement.

§ 7

Delivery

  1. 1. The Seller delivers within Poland.
  2. 2. Personal collection is possible at the Jabłonka and Czarny Dunajec branches during working hours.
  3. 3. The delivery cost is set individually and stated in the quotation.
  4. 4. The Customer is obliged to check the condition of the shipment on receipt. Complaints about mechanical damage reported after receipt are considered individually.

§ 8

Warranties

  1. 1. The Seller provides a warranty on goods sold in accordance with the manufacturer's terms.
  2. 2. A warranty card is issued together with the goods (where the manufacturer provides one).
  3. 3. For services performed, the Seller provides a warranty in accordance with the Construction Law.
  4. 4. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use, assembly inconsistent with the documentation or third-party interference.
  5. 5. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the Consumer's rights under statutory warranty (rękojmia).
§ 9

Complaints

  1. 1. Complaints should be submitted in writing to the registered address or by e-mail to info@standex.pl.
  2. 2. A complaint should include: the Customer's details, a description of the defect, proof of purchase and photos (if possible).
  3. 3. The Seller considers a complaint within 14 days of receipt.
  4. 4. If a complaint is upheld, the Seller replaces the goods, repairs the defect or refunds the price.

§ 10

Withdrawal from the contract

  1. 1. A Consumer concluding a distance contract has the right to withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason.
  2. 2. The period is counted from the day of taking possession of the goods.
  3. 3. The declaration of withdrawal should be sent in writing or by e-mail.
  4. 4. Reimbursement is made within 14 days of receiving the declaration.

Exceptions:

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods:

  • Made to the Consumer's specification (e.g. made-to-measure windows, doors)
  • Liable to deteriorate rapidly
  • After the service has begun with the Consumer's explicit consent

Customers who are not Consumers (entrepreneurs) do not have the right of withdrawal.

§ 12

Final provisions

  1. 1. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the Civil Code, the Consumer Rights Act and other applicable legislation.
  2. 2. The Seller reserves the right to amend these Terms. Changes take effect from the date the new version is published on the website.
  3. 3. Disputes arising from contracts will be settled by the court competent for the Seller's registered office (except for disputes with Consumers).
  4. 4. A Consumer may use out-of-court complaint procedures (UOKiK, the ODR platform).
  5. 5. These Terms are effective from 26.04.2026.
